What's new this week at Brock Farms:
Lace Leaf Japanese Maple
We offer many varieties of this dwarf weeping ornamental. Sizes range from a #2 gallon container up to 4'-5' specimens. These trees are works of art, with beautiful shapes. They are slow growing, reaching 2'-8' high and 10'-12' wide. Maples are a very durable group of plants that adapt to a broad range of environments. There is year round interest with these deciduous trees. The assortment of foliage colors varies from spring to summer to fall. Wintertime exposes attractive branch structures.
Thundercloud Plum
Known for its stunning light purple, early spring, flowers followed by burgundy leaves. Top height 20'-25' with a width of 20 feet. Thundercloud Plums make excellent accent or ornamental mid-sized trees for any property. Pruning is rarely needed. If required, prune after flowering or in late summer only.
Kousa Dogwood
This dogwood is a beautiful, medium-sized ornamental tree. It has creamy white flowers in the spring and as it matures pinkish "fruit" appears. Brock Farms has sizes ranging from 4'-5' feet up to 12' feet tall. The leaves are a strong green color, up to 3" long turning a reddish brown in fall. Dogwoods prefer a moist, well drained, acidic soil.
Emerald Green Arborvitae
Our biggest selling privacy tree. Big, thick, easy to maintain. Mature height is 12'-15' with a width of 3'-4' feet. Arborvitaes can tolerate almost any soil condition, as long as the soil is kept moist and well drained. Light conditions are full sun to partial shade in warmer climates. These trees take up only a small amount of your yard to form a solid screen! Hardy and easy to install, creating the perfect living fence has never been so simple!
Jacquemontii Birch
A beautiful tree with showy white bark for year around interest. This Birch thrives in wet, acidic soil, in hot climates and will reach 40' feet tall and 20'-25' feet wide.
